BE BOLD...Let's #GO GOLD for Childhood Cancer Awareness Night at the Firebird's football game, Friday, Sept. 25, 2026! September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. Join the Free State High School Football Team and the Gridiron Club to rally together to help raise funds for children who are fighting or who have fought cancer. Funds raised through your purchase of our #GO GOLD t-shirts and all direct donations will be given to local pediatric cancer charities (Baby Jay's Legacy of Hope and #teamgrit).

#GO GOLD t-shirts can be ordered through the online store beginning August 22 - September 13th. Shirts will be available for pick-up at Lawrence Shirt Factory beginning September 22nd. Shirts not picked up by 1pm on Sept. 25th will be distributed by the Gridiron Club at the FSHS Football game that evening. Pediatric cancer is the leading cause of death by disease among children ages 0-19 in the United States. For many, this fight has hit close to home. Let's show our community that no one fights alone! We hope to see you wearing your #GO GOLD shirt in the stands on Friday, Sept. 25th as the Free State High School Football Team takes the field in honor of pediatric cancer kids and their families!
